Hiked my ass off this weekend. Pounded through the mucky muck. Frost on my tootsies in the morning cause my boots were soaked. Dobbin grade is not a place to loosen your shoelaces.

Gear cleaning

One week until Columbus Day weekend and an overnighter I've needed for a while.

Since I missed the Glacier trip in early Sept I've been pining away for the wilderness.

So this morning I hauled out my gear and prepped it. Seam seals, new laces, straps.
Comforting to have something so necessary to do.

I can almost smell the campfire and decaying leaves.

So long suckas. :)
